Grogu is a Force-sensitive child who belongs to the same species as the Jedi Grand Master Yoda. Din Djarin, the bounty hunter known as the "Mandalorian", frees him from captivity to hand him over to his own employer. Driven by remorse and compassion, "Mando" frees him again, which leads to his expulsion from the Bounty Hunters' Guild. Since then, the two have been roaming the galaxy, always watching out for each other.
